Besides the feeling of a “hot rock massage” from the heat or warmth generated by the 1 mega Hz ultrasound (high-frequency sound waves) delivery through the two transducer heads of the device, there is little to no side effects or complications. The generated heat warms the treatment area to create skin tightening and creates a micromassage effect on the fat cells. The zonal massage handpiece works with the lymphatic system to drain away excess toxins and fats, and increase local blood supply.
