Thank you very much for your inquiry regarding cosmetic nose surgery, nose beautification and rhinoplasty. I have 18 years of experience performing rhinoplasty surgery. I perform more than 50 nose beautification procedures per year, which is significantly higher than the national average with about one third being revision surgery.
I completed a residency and fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center. I am quadruple board certified including the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) and achieved the highest score on both the oral examinations for the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. I was a Clinical Professor at Stanford University Medical Center for seven years after fellowship training.
Currently, several plastic surgeons refer their rhinoplasty patients to me for evaluation and treatment. I treat all ethnic backgrounds, including Afro-American, Asian, Latin and European. My cosmetic practice is located in both entertaining Las Vegas, Nevada.
I use both the endonasal or closed approach and the transcolumellar or open approach to achieve my results. Often cartilage grafting taken from the nasal septum, which also improves nasal breathing, or the ear conchal area strengthen the nasal tip and nostrils.
While at Stanford University Medical Center in private practice, my partners and I published three peer reviewed journal articles regarding nasal surgery (Laryngoscope. 111: 1783-1790, 2001; Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 122: 204-211, 2000; Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 119: 569-73, 1998). These articles outlined the development of two innovative nasal surgical procedures designed to improve both nasal function (improved nasal breathing) and aesthetic appearance. Recently, I contributed in a rhinoplasty textbook (Troell RJ: Nasal Alar Rim Reconstruction for Nasal Rim and Valve Collapse, In: Melvin A. Shiffman, M.D., J.D., Alberto Di Giuseppe, M.D., editors. Advanced Rhinoplasty: Art, Science, and New Clinical Techniques, Springer Verlag, Berlin, 2013).
During your initial free consultation, we will discuss your concerns and complete a photo imaging evaluation. The photo imaging program enables me, with your immediate direct input, to show you the result of making specific changes in the appearance of your nose.
I have before and after rhinoplasty patient photographs at Please continue browsing our website. My facial plastic & reconstructive surgery practice has patients available to discuss with you the various stages of recovery. I look forward to meeting you in my office.
Respectfully Yours,
