This massage is a luxurious and relaxing massage combined with deep heat therapy and usually combined with deep tissue massage. Polished Basalt Lava Stones are heated and incorporated into the massage to facilitate muscle treatment. This Hot Stone Massage technique may also involve the intermittent application of cold stones or application of cold stones at the end of the deep tissue massage to diminish tissue trauma and swelling.
