Threadlift (MartinLift®) Facelift
Martinlift® (minimally invasive facelift) is a simple non-cutting alternative to surgery. Candidates usually fall between the ages of 35 to 65. The Martinlift® is performed in-office under local anesthesia with minimal down time. “Smart threads” with microscopic barbs are inserted, through a needle, into the subcutaneous tissue layer of the skin. These threads are pulled back to tighten the skin, to eliminate jowls, raise the brows, and contour the cheeks for a natural look.
The Martinlift® is a unique and distinctive innovation in the technology of the original threadlift procedure developed by George Sulmanidze MD and associates at the Moscow Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Alex Martin has deployed a unique and effective transparent suture which acts as a microscopic cable holding tissues in place and creating a safe and effective support for sagging facial tissues that have lost their connective tissue support. The Martinlift® procedure is most effective on thinner faces which need refreshing for the first time and also on previously operated faces whose surgical lifts may have started to sag and which need minor revisions without resorting to traditional cutting procedures. The Martinlift® represents an effective and relatively affordable approach to improving ones appearance without the deployment of general anesthesia as the entire procedure is conducted under local anesthesia.
